The GET Foundation

The Gordon Tam & Elsie K. Tam Charitable Foundation (Federal EIN 94-6746714, California Corporate # 2147804) was incorporated in California on Sept 28, 1999 as a nonprofit public benefit corporation. The name of the foundation was renamed "The GET Foundation" on June 23, 2000.

The foundation was formed by Gordon Tam who serves as its President and Director and Elsie K. Tam who serves as its Treasurer, Secretary and Director for the purpose of granting and administering scholarships to deserving Hong Kong high school graduates, based on financial need, to pursuit undergraduate studies at accredited four-year universities in the United States.

The founders have pledged to donate/raise up to US $1,000,000 to fund the program OR until the foundation has sufficient assets to be self-supporting.

Scholarships available: up to 2 each year (US $5000.00 each)
